In addition, FYM would like to thank all its donors, many of whom wish to remain anonymous and “in memoriam” donations and legacies, which are hugely valued and appreciated

In particular, FYM is extremely grateful to the late John Skinner for his generous bequest. Until his premature death in 2014, John served CYM with great distinction, both as a teacher and pastoral leader. John’s generosity will ensure his legacy lives on for many years.

FYM is also enormously grateful to the late Peter Croser for his generous bequest. Peter worked as a piano teacher and then accompanist at CYM from the early 70s until his retirement in 2013. Born in London, he studied at the Royal Academy of Music from the age of 16 and enjoyed a distinguished career as a soloist and accompanist, regularly performing on radio and TV as well as in the concert hall. He was also an examiner for ABRSM and taught at the University of Surrey. Peter was an inspiration to countless CYM students and is also remembered as the hugely informative host of the weekly lunchtime concerts.
